Overview
Naples is simply stunning: a complex, fascinating city and the result of centuries of shifting power systems in southern Italy.
A key element to an appreciation of this extraordinary city is what you see and what you don’t: its multiple layers both physically and metaphorically.
Join Dr Jeni Ryde for a fascinating lecture which explores what lies beneath this outstanding city, including an examination of the imprint of the various people and cultures that have influenced how Naples appears today.
Your Expert lecturer
Dr Jeni Ryde is a linguist and art history specialist with over fifteen years experience leading tours to Italy, Spain, France and Portugal. She is passionate about art, design and architecture both ancient and modern and particularly enjoys how both complement each other.
